Arguably one of the most popular and well-known characters in the Star Wars phenomenon, Yoda is the Grand Jedi Master and was stronger than most in his connection with the Force. Small in size, but wise and powerful, he trained as a Jedi for over 800 years. Appearing first in The Empire Strikes Back, Yoda taught Luke Skywalker as a Jedi and imparted some of the greatest wisdom of all. Calm, serene, green and with large ears Yoda is said to have lived to 900 years of age. He can be seen in many Lucas Film and Disney episodes of Star Wars, including The Empire Strikes Back 1980, Return of the Jedi 1983, The Phantom Menace 1999, Attack of the Clones 2002, Revenge of the Sith 2005, The Clone Wars 2008, Star Wars: Rebels 2014, The Force Awakens 2015, Rogue One 2016 and The last Jedi 2017.
